Psychological treatment within care choice psychotherapy (Region Skåne)
You can receive psychological treatment from us under the care choice psychotherapy scheme, which means that you have the same conditions as in public healthcare. You pay a patient fee of SEK 200 per visit, and if you have a free card, treatment is free of charge. You do not have to pay a patient fee if you are under 20 years of age or have reached the age of 85.
How does it work?
1. Referral from your health center
To receive treatment under the psychotherapy option, you need a referral from your doctor or psychologist at the health center where you are listed.
2. Assessment interviews and treatment
Once we have received your referral, we will schedule an initial consultation to discuss your needs and how treatment can be designed.
Psychotherapy is available to people aged 16 and over with anxiety, depression, stress or trauma (PTSD).
